Do you like hamburgers? Or even a veggie burger can work. I am going to share a recipe that I have never seen anywhere else. Roger and I use to go to a little Mom and Pop restaurant and the specialty of the house was a Burger Marine, it is a new twist on the all American Hamburger.
The owner, Mike created it. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed and Mike moved on but not before he shared his recipe with us.
It is so good and easy to put together. And it will fill you up. Or you can share it but it is so tasty you may not want too.
So the next time you are grilling burgers on the grill or frying them in the kitchen go ahead and try this version of the all American Hamburger. And have an ice cold beer or soft drink with it. Now that will hit the spot.

A New Twist On The All American Hamburger
- Hamburger Patty
- Submarine Roll
- Sliced Tomato
- Sliced Onion
- To Taste Salt & Pepper
- Dollop Worcestershire sauce
- Shredded Mozzerella Cheese
Salt & Pepper hamburger patty. Add a dollop of Worcestershire sauce for flavor Grill or fry hamburger patty As the meat cooks, slice the submarine roll. To make it easier slice long way and then in half. Then spread Mayonaise on each side of the roll. Add mustard. Layer on lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion. Sprinkle on the shredded mozzarella cheese After the hamburger is cooked to your liking. cut in half and place on roll. Drizzle with submarine dressing.
