This is the final holiday sign for the sign holder from a Broken Chair. Just in time for the warmer months which in my mind mean the Patriotic Holiday’s. I’ll show you how to celebrate summer with a patriotic pallet sign.
This is an easy project and you don’t need a sign hanger from a Broken Chair. It can be hung as is. And it is reversible. When you turn this sign around the Harvest Picture will appear. You can check how I put the sign together here. The Christmas sign is here and check out the Valentine’s Day and Spring sign here.

To create this sign I drew vertical stripes on the boards. The middle stripe is wider and painted with blue craft paint.
On either side of the blue stripe, draw 3 more stripes. It helps to dab red and white paint on the stripes so you don’t get confused.
Use painters tape and tape off along the drawn lines. Starting from the left paint the first stripe red. Alternate stripes that is why it helps to dab on the paint so you don’t get carried away and paint the stripe the wrong color.
After the paint is dry remove the tape and tape on the other side of the lines. Then come back and fill in the stripes with the white paint.
Now this patriotic sign has to have stars so out comes the Cuddle bug and the star die. I had leftover gold, glittery paper from The Shinning Christmas Star ornament. Perfect for this project. I cut out the stars and then used Mod Podge to stick them on the boards. Brush the Mod Podge over the entire piece for protection. To hang it, screw in eye hooks on either side on the top and tie twine on them.
I hope you enjoyed this ongoing craft project, with the Stars and Stripes rounding it off. I could have kept going but decided I would let you come up with your own holiday signs so please let me know if you do.

What a cute idea Debra. I love how you used the Christmas stars and recycled them for this project. This is very pretty and would look great on the porch too!
