From time to time some of you have mentioned you wanted to see my booth. I never felt it was the right time to do that until now. Are you ready for a tour? Welcome to the marketplace, the place of treasures. It is filled with talented curators of vintage finds and furniture painters.
I find it is so exciting to go to Scavengers Marketplace, the official name. The new managers have some exciting plans for both the vendors and the shoppers.
And new vendors who are renting space have the same vision so we have a unified brand. It has been a long time coming. I am so excited to introduce you to everyone.
Now in the past, I have written about my adventures at Fancy Flea Market which is held in the spring and fall. It is fun but since you never know what the weather will be like it may be too hot or it may rain.
I have also taken you on a field trip to Vintiquity Lane. I love going there, it is so inspirational. And that is what is so exciting about Scavengers Marketplace. Many of our new vendors have moved from there to here.
The new marketplace has a little bit of everything for everyone. While the ladies are looking at the vintage clothing or a new piece of furniture for the house the men may be going through the record section finding the favorite album of our youth. Or they are checking out the comics. That is always an enjoyable pastime.
The other day I was talking to a young couple who was looking for furniture to furnish their first home. It is also a great place if you need a little something to perk up the house. You know sometimes that is all it takes to fall in love with your house again.
I know some of you may not be in the area but many of the vendors post their finds on Etsy and eBay. And if you do live in Florida, plan a visit to Scavengers Marketplace. You will love it. Oh and stop by my booth, Shoppe No. 5 and say hi.
